Blue Filter Mesh Belts
Filter Mesh Belt
Blue Filter Mesh Belts are also referred to in the Fresh-cut, Fruit, and Vegetable Industry as Dewatering belts. These belts have small openings, with the most common opening sizes ranging from 1x1mm, 2x2mm, and 4x4mm. The idea is for water and air to flow through the belt, allowing the produce to dewater and completely dry. These belts are made of FDA approved Polyester with the temperature resistance ranging from -4° F to 174°F. The edges are made of an FDA approved Monolithic which does not contain any fabric. These belts are most commonly joined together using a Unibar Clipper Lacing, preventing and rust from forming and keeping the lace from having individual loops disconnect. Tracking guides are recommended for this style of belting.
